Opportunity to Serve in South America: 200 UUPGs

In the Amazon basin and surrounding areas, more than 200 indigenous people groups are hidden in the world’s largest rainforest. Most of these people groups are not only unreached (UPG); they are still unengaged, lacking an effective strategy to reach them with the Gospel (UUPG).

The International Mission Board has teams currently developing strategy as well as new teams being formed to reach these hidden people groups. It is a monumental task, and they are requesting teammates to join them. Many of the teams who are targeting these indigenous UPGs and UUPGs are under the leadership of a man who grew up in the Philippines, as the child of missionaries, and he is eager to welcome Filipino missionaries to join their teams in the work there.
