ENGAGING EVERYONE TOWARDS THE FINAL THRUST

The 4th One Sending Body (OSB) Congress held on August 13-16, 2019 in Tagbilaran City, Bohol drew 212 delegates from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, Peninsula, and Tribal Conventions. Delegates, lecturers and missionaries came from Japan, Hongkong, Middle East, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and the USA. Mindanao topped the highest delegations.

The delegates witnessed the signing of Covenant Agreement between the OSB and the International Mission Board (IMB) opening opportunities of working together in the field calling for such partnerships. It was a time of celebrating the first 10 years of OSB. It was a time for learning from the lecturers, testimonies, preaching and from each other’s informal sharing time. It was a time for praying and blessing the missionaries and their ministries. It was a time of establishing new partnerships in the ministry. And it was a time of publicly responding to God’s call.

It was also a time to appreciate God’s creation in Bohol for the famous Chocolate Hills and the tarsier. Some had the chance to see the historic blood compact marker between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna.
